Welcome to the Indian Film Festival of Cincinnati, located in Cincinnati the city that sings! Known as the "Queen City ", Cincinnati is the home place of America's greats such as Doris Day and George Clooney and the birthplace of events such as the October Fest and Blink that envelops our streets with lights and festivities each Year. Our historic downtown is home to art shows, concerts, cook-offs and is home of the Cincinnati Film Commission that has welcomed great film makers to shoot their films in this city. "The killing of the Sacred Deer", "Reprisal", Mauraders," "Inconceivable" "Carol" "The Life and Death of John Gotti and "Rain man" are just a few of the many movies shot on location here." We invite film makers from all over the world to come to our city and enjoy the Midwestern hospitality at its' finest.
The Cincinnati Film Festival’s goal is to acknowledge and award the many talented independent filmmakers, writers and performers who may not get the recognition they deserve through many commercial film festivals. While at the same time, engaging our community in connecting with the immense diversity of the South Asian subcontinent. We celebrate the vibrant film enthusiasts who are committed in creating spaces for independent cinema and devoted to spreading of the knowledge of the modern visual art form to all interested. This year we invite Ohio film makers to submit their films
and stories that will resonate with the diversity and inclusion theme of our festival.
At the Cincinnati Film Festival we recognize filmmakers who demonstrate exceptional achievement in their craft and creativity. Awards will be distributed, giving filmmakers, writers and actors the opportunity to be noticed. First place films of each category will receive an award trophy plus special recognition for the overall all Best Film.
All attending members of submitted films will receive VIP passes to all events and experience our Midwestern hospitality. Please pick up your badges at the event. Please down load our Laurel for your use. It is posted on the home page.
